"A good robovac is a life changer. Even a $350 basic S8. It is a great place to start. ... I promise you that you will not be disappointed by a basic S8. It will change your life even if it can't fit under every piece of furniture you own. ... My two S8s just finished vacuuming our entire house in about 46 minutes. ... While my floors were being cleaned, I sat comfortably on our patio in the cool shade with a slight breeze and composed my far too long response to you while sipping a diet soda and relaxing. ... I will have to spend about four minutes maintaining my two S8s. This will be my entire contribution to my home floor cleaning effort for today. Four minutes!"
"I got the Q5 Pro for $139. ... costs $450 less than what I paid for the S6 ... it is the best value option out there imo."
"Like 500$ these robots are currently the steal of the century ... You can get a mova p10 pro ultra (cannot remove its mops), equivalent to the l40/x40 for 500$ after a discount code"

After looking at the suggestions, I have decided to buy a Kenmore. However, I do not know which Kenmore to buy out of these: The one at Walmart suggested above is the following: Kenmore BU3040 Intuition Lite Bagged Upright Vacuum Lightweight Cleaner 2-Motor Power Suction with HEPA Filter, 3-in-1 Combination Tool, Handi-Mate for Carpet, Floor, Pet Hair, Red W/No Lift-up I found 2 Intutions on Amazon: Kenmore BU4050 Intuition Bagged Upright Vacuum, liftup Cleaner with Hair Eliminator brushroll, pet Handi-Mate for Carpet, Hard Floor, Rose Gold Kenmore BU4022 Intuition Bagged Upright Vacuum Lift-Up Carpet Cleaner 2-Motor Power Suction with HEPA Filter, 3-in-1 Combination Tool, HandiMate for Floor, Pet Hair, Green I also found 2 Cannister versions on Amazon with high ratings: Kenmore 600 Series Friendly Lightweight Bagged Canister Vacuum with Pet PowerMate, Pop-N-Go Brush, 2 Motors, HEPA Filter, Aluminum Telescoping Wand, Retractable Cord and 4 Cleaning Tools, Purple Kenmore 81214 200 Series Bagged Canister Vacuum Cleaning Tools, Orange I don't really know the difference between these 5 options, which one would you suggest out of these for my purposes? Edit: I researched them a bit more and went with the rose gold one. I think its good enough for my purposes
Skip bagless. They don’t clean well, last long or filter well. Kenmore elite or intuition bu4050
The 4050 or 600 series. The rest are missing too many features or compromised some other way. Which one of those comes down to budget and form factor preference.
1) The commonly recommended units in that price range are the BU4050 and Kenmore elite upright (great but bulky) 2) IMO yes it’s absolutely worth the premium. The Sebo is a commercial workhorse that you can use in your home. Plus it has a 10yr warranty if you purchase through a local dealer. I’d also look at the dart - some people here prefer it over the Felix.
Kenmore intuition BU4050 is a much better machine than this. You want something *bagged*.
If you can bump your budget - a Sebo dart would be fantastic. Otherwise. Kenmore 600 series or Kenmore intuition BU4050. You want something corded **and bagged**
Based on your needs and budget you absolutely want something **corded and bagged**. They clean better and last longer. Pick up a Kenmore Intuition BU4050 and be done with it. Bags are a small expense to have the vacuum actually work and last longer than 18 months.
Kenmore intuition BU4050. Bags are a ~$15-20 **per year** running cost.
Yes The hose is the Achilles heel. But it’s $15 on eBay and easily replaceable. Unfortunately, for the budget you won’t do better until you triple+ your budget.
Kenmore is your best bet. I’m not a fan of the 200 series (although it cleans well) it’s very compromised (short cord and hose). Look at the 400 series or 600 series if you can catch it on a sale. Or a Kenmore Intuition BU4050 if you like uprights.
Bagged is definitely the way to go. With that budget look at Kenmore. The intuition BU4050 specifically.
No. Grab a Kenmore Intuition BU4050
Kenmore intuition BU4050 or simplicity allergy for carpet then use the Miele on the hard floors.
Shark is disposable junk nowadays. Grab something corded and bagged. Kenmore intuition BU4050 is the best you’ll do for that budget.
That’s going to be a really tough price point. Cheapest I can think of is a Kenmore Intuition (bagged) not bagless
I wouldn’t seriously consider any shark. They’re junk. I prefer the Kenmore version of the intuition over the vacmaster. the lift away is nice for getting stairs and furniture. Worth the premium alone. And depending on which intuition model they all come with slightly different attachments. I’d say use it and see what you need to add for your use case. If you have pet fur on couches etc a turbo attachment might be nice to add.
Save your money, frustration and time. Get a Kenmore BU4050 and you’ll be happy with the performance that will long outlast any bagless.
Priced high. Just note, that canister is very heavy compared to its German counterparts. If you’re looking for something that’ll last awhile that’s new, get a Kenmore BU4050 or 600 series.
The 600 is a canister, the BU4050 is an upright.
Canisters aren’t that much more bulky, in my opinion. The 31150 is a good one or the Intuition. Note: the 31150 is 20ish lbs so it’s on the heavy side.
Kenmore bu40xx models get recommended a lot. Pick the variant that has the tools etc (color!) you need like 4050, 4022.
You haven't said if you want upright or canister - but as far as uprights the Kenmore Intuition BU4000 series - specifically the BU4022 or BU4050 - are the most "real" of a vacuum you can currently get at that price point. Bagged upright with great filtration and a mostly solid build.
I 2nd the bu4050. Even tho it's pink its amazing for the price
Kenmore BU4050 does pretty good work for the price...
Kenmore Intuition BU4050 is the best for the price for sure
Obviously the felix and E3 are going to be the best bet... But maybe you can talk her into a Kenmore BU4050. Best bang for the back and has a bag. Does a tremendous job for the price
My wife runs a cleaning business and has a sebo e3 and d4...but she likes using the kenmore quite a bit and its the one we use at our house the most. Cheap, convenient, decently reliable, and does a great job cleaning
We own a cleaning business. We use Sebo E3 and D4. Currently also use a Kenmore Intuition BU4050 as an upright but will get a felix once we need another. Will never use a bagless Vacuum again, especially a Shark. They are junk and never last for the amount we use them. Bags are so much easier and cleaner, require very little maintenance besides changing a filter once or twice a year. Bags last a long time vs emptying a bin multiple times a day.
Kenmore Intuition BU4050. Bagged and works incredibly well for under $200
The felix or E3 would be my first choice with the Kenmore BU4050 coming in next especially for your budget. It will do what you need it to and is pretty reliable for the price
Agree. Intuition BU4050 is the one. Bagless is awful and Dyson and shark are worse...
Kenmore BU4050 paired with the Eureka Stylus Elite NEC490SE
Kenmore Intuition BU4050. Dont look back
Not the best color but for the price...hard to beat
Kenmore BU4050. Best bagged Vacuum I have found that is good on carpet and hard floors and comes in well under that budget.
Definitely Sebo if you can swing it. We've had a ton of luck and use out of our Kenmore Intuition BU4050 too
Gotta take reviews with a grain of salt tho. Majority of people only leave reviews when they dont like something...but dont typically leave a review if they do. At least thats how i see it. Our Intuition BU4050 has been great. Do i expect it to last as long as a Sebo? No. But for the price its hard to beat
We pair a Kenmore Intuition BU4050 with a Eureka Cordless Stylus NEC490SE and wife loves it. One for deeper cleans the other for everyday messes
Kenmore Intuition BU4050 and Eureka Stylus Elite NEC490SE. Under budget and all you ever need
Kenmore Intuition BU4050 is the way
Always get a bagged my friend. This group has pinned posts as to why. Been using this since 3 years. Don't even have to clean up the brush roll.
Literally just received a new Kenmore intuition bu4050 today after 2 weeks researching and 3 years of a shark getting progressively worse. Initial impression is this thing sucks good. The carpets actually feel fluffed under my feet for the first time in a couple years.
Pretty happy with the Kenmore Intuition BU4050 that I just purchased for $190. I'm not a heavy vacuum because we have our house cleaned once a month, so I expect it will last a long time. I replaced an old bag less Shark... I was always happy with the suction but the mess of bagless was awful.
Kenmore Intuition has my vote for your situation
You don’t need a $600 Sebo for 900 sq ft apartment. Kenmore Intuition would do just fine.
It’s a 900 sq ft apt. You’re in college. How long is your lease? Are you looking for a lifetime vacuum, or just one that will last the next couple of years? My experience with Intuition has been great - BU4050. It will do just fine unless you’re looking for something to pass on to your grandkids in 50 years. Honestly you could probably get away with a $60 Bissell Powerforce from Target. 🤷♂️
This. 4050 has the anti hair wrap beater bar and better accessories. 👍
I’ve used both. The Intuition is better. It’s very powerful and easy to maneuver. Just change the bag every now and then, easier than rinsing filters and waiting for them to dry IMHO.
