"I like the bag. Our bagless vacuums always made a MESS cloud of dust when trying to empty them in the kitchen. I'd have to go outside, and it would still make a cloud all over me. This was easy, close the lid on the bag, lift it out, toss it in the trash, put a new one in. It holds more than I'd typically think, because unlike our bagless, the dirt all gets packed into the bag, it gets more dense. So it holds more than you would expect."
"We've neglected the hell out of it. It has 1555 hours on it with minimal maintenance. Ran it every night for 4 years or so. So I always thought these things were tanks. It still works"
"All the parts that will have tangled hair (like rollers, empty bin, rotating brushes, and wheels) are extremely easy to remove and clean, almost with no tools needed. I literally take only ten minutes to remove every dog hair inside the system."

"Been using them for about four years working out in my gym, and cycling daily (45+ minutes on a bicycle outdoors)."
"I even washed them accidentally and still worked perfectly fine afterwards."
"I still have the Kirby my grandma bought brand new in 1970."

"it's a dream/works so well. ... I am shocked (kinda disgusted at times!) at how much it picks up."
"The other head without the spinner is fucking ridiculously strong. ... I cannot vacuum a rug with it because it sucks so hard. I have to hold one side down with my foot and pull away and it's still hard haha."
"3 dog's and 3 cats with all carpet. ... that thing fuckin rips. ... it works too good and everytime I use it I have to take scissors and cut the hair that's caught around the head in the brushes but it's not the vacuums fault I have a fucking hobby farm on a carpet sooo."

"Also the bags henry uses are massive. ... I’d be shocked if you used more than 2 a year."

"They're so cheap in the UK for what they are because they are made here. ... £130 will buy you a brand new one, but an second hand one is a perfectly good option too."
"affordable"

"getting stressed out about the whole process of plugging in, lifting, storing the giant Kirby and not vacuuming at all in the end."
"You do NOT want a Kirby if you have stairs - trust me."
"very heavy and cumbersome"

"the amount of dog hair / ETC it can get out of the carpet vs the Dyson Cordless cannot be compared."
"the cordless Dyson isn’t that great for carpet/rugs ... I have the old school Dyson Ball vacuum cleaner and it’s sooo much better for rugs"

I have a Henry XL. Man, it's simplicity is a winner. Just just what it's supposed to do.
The numatic Henry with a tile head would work. Take the wheels off the tile head to help lift the chalk. We used to use Henry when we did builders cleans, lots of plaster dust went through that bad boy and he lasted over 10 years. Cannot recommend that vacuum any more. I bought my own after using the work one for years haha.
Hands down the Henry. I have had two sharks, a Dyson and a Hoover upright, all bagless. My Henry Pet has out lasted them all and Neumatic have great customer service and are a UK made product.
Henry pet because shark was shit
Went the othery. Had a shark, constantly had to clean it, replaced filters etc. Henry is a Joe in comparison.
I have a pink pet hair Henry, it’s a belter.
Until I bought a Henry hound (?) no vacuum lasted longer than two years. Henry is indestructible, quite manly for a vacuum, and like many men quite annoying around the house. He had a habit of toppling over and loosing suction as soon as the paper bag was half full. Then about nine years ago, I invested in a Shark. I prefer the upright type of vacuum cleaner to the pull along, so this suits me better. It can work as a cylinder if I want to vacuum under tight spaces. It’s easier to manoeuvre on the stairs. I bought the powered head attachment for doing the stairs, and some small nozzles for reaching in tight spaces in the car. I’m still amazed at how much dust it sucks out of the carpets. I empty it after every use because I don’t like looking at the muck in the clear plastic tank. Henry lives in the garage now.
Henry with the power head purchased on top .
I've a big henry, amazing but bit much for dragging up and downstairs so i bought a Henry quick handheld, its brilliant
The green Henry hoover for pets. Great little hoover.
We've a Henry pet that does wonders for pet hair on the carpet areas and would definitely get another but the thing just goes and as others have said they hold up to abuse from kids aswell We got a 2nd hand Dyson cordless on cheap a few yrs back - it's grand for a daily clean up on wooden floors - I wouldn't recommend one though if u have pets as it barely does anything on the carpets and I wouldn't go near them at the prices in the shops though.
