In Canada, it's $750 (£398) Bags compress hair and dust so you don't change them as often as you think. Filters better then having a filter at the end of the motor like dyson etc (which you technically need to change annually for more cost than bags). only downside is you can't see if you sucked up a kids toy
14makeit 0.5I absolutely love my Henry Quick. Pricey but worth every penny. Picks up pebbles no problem. Easy to use good design, quiet, uses bags so it’s easy to empty. Also my back doesn’t hurt like when I use conventional vacuum.

Appropriate_Month111 0.5henry quick. it's bagged, relatively cheap, in comparison to dyson. being bagged means better airflow and suction. U just buy pack of pods, with your case they will last you for 3 weeks at most, but much hygienic choice than dumping all the fur and dust outside. the pods will act like a trash contractor, it will squeeze the dust and fur, giving more volume than just clear bin in other cordless vacuums. By being bagged, or "podded" i should say, u dont have to wash filters or change them as much, also extends the life of the motor.
Benito_Caruana 0.5Easy to clean and cheap, see if you can get a Henry Quick. Henry is a very old and well trusted vacuum cleaning brand in the UK used in commercial environments and at home. They’re cheap and reliable, they’re known for these big tubs on wheels that have a HEPPA filter bag that collects the dust and you replace, no filters or anything, and they’ve just released a new stick vacuum called Henry Quick, which again has a small bag that’s the filter too, so no filter washing and loss of suction. You can most likely get one shipped from the UK, and I imagine the bags can be found on Amazon anyways.
blackout1912 0.5There’s a large amount of extremely biased people here sadly. Obviously Dyson isn’t nowhere near the best vacuum in the world, but it also isn’t the worst as it’s made out to be here. If you can get it on sale at a good price I’d deffo go for it. Tried many makes and honestly when it comes to cordless I think Dysons the best. Yet again people here will tell you there the worst cause they’ve read stories from people complaining when most of the time problems are caused by users not machine.. or that they fix loads of them, with majority probably trashed by customers.. Henry quick is supposed to be good but I find it extremely heavy and bulky, definitely not a great handheld vacuum
cloudmountainio 0.5Henry quick. Should go below £150 around Black Friday. Had mine a year or so. Love it. Charges quickly and picks up my dogs fur fine. Battery lasts for ages. I like the little pods as well, easy to empty and keeps the pet smell contained.
ConBroMitch2247 0.5As long as the carpets you get are low pile: Miele, Sebo or Henry are great options. Which model depends on where in Europe you are. these 3 brands are corded and bagged. Which is the gold standard for vacuums cordless/bagless (Henry Quick) is good to keep around for quick daily kid messes, but a good corded/bagged vacuum is essential for weekly deep cleans.
I’d get a Henry to be honest.

The Henry, Samsung Bespoke AI and Cord Zero A9 all feature a bagged mechanism of some kind which make them hygienically a step above the rest. The Henry is the only cordless that actually has a bag which is unique to this category.
