"I think its hands down the best all around option right now, especially once you hook it up to the water line and drain, i run it daily in our house and we got rid of our cleaning help because of it."
"I have an even thicker rug than this and my Curv has no issues ... It's the reason I bought mine because I have an even thicker rug than that and no robot could even climb onto it"
"I found that it was even able to get up caked on Kitty vomit if I simply sprayed those areas with cleaning vinegar beforehand. ... I was pleasantly surprised."

"Been using them for about four years working out in my gym, and cycling daily (45+ minutes on a bicycle outdoors)."
"I even washed them accidentally and still worked perfectly fine afterwards."
"I still have the Kirby my grandma bought brand new in 1970."

"The bag alone does a better job filtering than the whole of any Dyson or Shark. Then it goes through a pre-filter, and then a HEPA or carbon filter. ... The inside of my C3 is basically spotless. I could eat out of it, and I've had it for 8 years, with two dogs."
"if u are allergic or have allergic family members miele is the way to go. ... Filtration was the reason for me to pick up my miele c3 as well. ... But for someone who has allergies that difference is very important. ... I prefer finer filtration because we have multiple family members will alergies, to the point where it causes unbearable symptoms."
"The filtration is seriously THAT GOOD. The bags are HEPA material, then there's another HEPA filter that follows that, and another HEPA filter after the motor. ... the bags are quite thick, and that extra tower filter in there that catches anything loose in the bag chamber makes a big difference in air quality... Essentially it's filtering through the equivalent of two bags vs 1. ... Speaking strictly from experience, I'm allergic to all the things and I never sneeze or get watery itchy gritty eyes when I'm using mine, which I normally always do."

"I had a Big Agnes for a decade. ... It sprung a leak on a trip this time last year. ... I found the leak on a seam and called to ask about repairing it. ... They asked for a pic, which I sent as well as a pic of the valve cut off (per their instructions) and my new pad arrived in a few days. No charge. ... I’ll never buy a pad from a different manufacturer again."
"if they fail (which out of all the matt's ive had over the years are the most reliable) the customer service is second to none, you will get a replacement."
"For me the thermarest warranty has been worth its weight in gold ... every interaction I’ve had with them has been amazing, no questions asked replacement or repair"

"I'll be damned if I'm going to drag that thing up and down three floors regularly."
"I’ve tried my families Miele canister when I lived with them and never got the hang of it. ... How do you manage the canister? We have a small space and based on my experience it seems like I would trip over it. Even when I tried it in a bigger place I still carried the canister around which was super annoying just to not trip on it ... The space is small enough that it has dead ends without enough space to turn around by pulling the canister. Is there a way that same concept can still be applied? We’re talking bedsides with only 1.5’ space, 4’ hallway with a litter box at the end, 5’ kitchen width with dead end."
"cascadia's never felt broken in to me, they remained really stiff"

"If you're cleaning a lot of hardwood floors, I would not do Sebo uprights as they don't have a brushroll shutoff"
"It looks like the Dart only has the brush roll, which might impact the linoleum over time? ... Yes I’d lean towards the Felix if that’s in your budget for sure!"
"I find the G4 merely adequate for most hard floors. ... If I had some delicate floors, I’d invest in a second, different machine to focus on those."

"I just asked about how often I’d be buying bags for a sebo with two high shedding large dogs, (similar probably too a gsd and 3 (if long hair cats) I would probably be replacing the bag every week. ... Calculating that cost for two dogs is another 210 a year in bags (probably more for me)"
100 bucks or so, I sold thousand of those , my fav
SEBO x4 or G series bulletproof and easy to work on
People like them but we had plenty of issues with them, this one made in Vietnam now, make sure you have a dealer near you, or just buy a Sebo x4, I've sold thousands for combo surfaces
Sebo is most of my business so that!
Of course she will get conflicting views here. SEBO if you have the money as well worth it if not, go with the Kenny.
Or the only other quality Vacuum is the SEBO you can tell them that you want one of those instead
As a small vacuum business myself, I would be happy to switch it out for you, if you feel better, call them ahead of time. Tell him what happened and you decide to go with the SEBO
They are having issues with their new SEB O and they are upset, these things are very rare, but they do happen
We recently got a sebo x4 to replace our second dying hoover. It feels super high quality and we are pretty happy with it. Our only complaint is that we miss being able to shut off the brush because it makes the floor warm where it sits when using the hose attachment.
I’ve got an X4 Boost and it’s a wonderful machine. It’s the vacuum cleaner I grab when I need to get stuff done. You can use it on bare floor, it is designed for it. I use it on luxury vinyl plank - it does well with any flat, hard-wearing floor. But delicate wood or very bumpy tile might be a no go. My only tip with this machine is to make sure to put the wand handle back over the unlock tab. I do wish SEBO found a better way to index the wand into the slot on the X7 to eliminate this issue.
SEBO bristles are also pretty long and flexible and SEBO doesn’t have a reputation for being a carpet shredder. I’ve stuck my hand on the nozzle and the cleaning action is more gentle than a lot of machines. Laminate flooring is surprisingly tough - the top layer is usually melamine like counter tops and it won’t have an issue with the X4. Melamine resin is much harder than nylon bristle. Now a polished marble floor or pine, maybe not.
That happens if you go onto a thicker rug and the machine is too low and doesn’t have enough time to raise the nozzle before triggering the shut down. Putting the handle into the upright position will raise the nozzle up. The X was created mainly for carpets with some hard floor use. It’s really a carpet - first cleaner and it’s pretty good at it too.
The best vacuum cleaner is the one that fits your cleaning needs. That said; if I’m choosing: - MD or Vacuflo central vac with chameleon retractable hoses and direct connext inlets. - Canister: SEBO D4 - Raw Power upright: Riccar R40 - Overall upright: Sebo X -Cordless: Hoover ONEPWR Hepa Bagged Upright BH55500PC (oreck has one, Hoover commercial has 40v version) - Ultralight: Oreck Elevate Conquer (yes Riccar R17 is excellent but this has a swivel neck)
I just got a SeboX4 and absolutely love it. Took advice from everyone on here. Walnut Creek vacuum will give you 25% any vacuum they sell. They have Melia vacuums to. I got the X4 for $620 everywhere else is 850-900
Had one for 20 years or so and then bought a Sebo X4. The Sebo was more expensive and much better.
It's a great machine. Ya dun good 😁 Do replace the filters periodically. And to do that, get the "Service Boxes", not just the filters. The service boxes come with a replacement squeegee for the base that helps it actually work on the hard floors and not just flick things like kitty litter back towards your feet and those squeegees do eventually tear and fall apart.
Sebo Automatic X4 or X7 with the softer brush roll (green bristles)
I love this machine! Only slight issue I have is it doesn’t really feel like it’s getting deep down, it’s VERY easy to push. But my full bags tell me otherwise. I found mine at a flea market for $5!!! It was in ROUGH shape. I went straight to the vacuum store and bought replacement Brush, Filters, and Bag. I actually got that tune up kit that included the plastic squeegee strip on the bottom. I spent about $120-ish on the new stuff and it works like a DREAM. Has really good suction
It's a good vacuum. And thorough. Very nice machine, enjoy it!
Sebo got the x4 pet and x7 upright every part is user replaceable, they last years.. 6 litre dust bag we use them in domestic care homes. Henry a simple vaccum sturdy enough but not good on deep pile carpets, plus if u forecful the hose comes off if henry is stuck around the corner. Dyson crap plastic useless.. Miele had the older revolution 5000 series cylinder wat a hoover you can use a powered head and it acts like a upright plus u can get the car kit set to use.. Mine lasted 15 years the powered switch failed miele wanted £150 ... ouch wasnt worth repairing it
