I second this. The amount of dirt and pet hair it picks up is astounding compared to any other vacuum I have tried.

I really like the shark lift away vacuums, like this one: https://www.walmart.com/ip/647003198?sid=7c70074d-28c4-477a-8d06-0a5d573d1d63

Shark Navigators are the best vacuums. My entire family prefers these over Dyson and they are affordable [https://amzn.to/45zOUdD](https://amzn.to/45zOUdD) It comes with a pet hair tool as well.

I was between this and the Dyson a few years back. I ended up buying the Dyson and then returning it for the Navigator

We have and at the time we bought we still had dogs. Both do great! We graduated to the shark robot once we no longer had dogs of our own. We still have one of our kids large very hairy dog at least 3-4 days a month and the robot is able to maintain us daily even when it is there. Our stick vac gets used once every two weeks. Used to have Dyson for context and it wasn’t as good. We only have a small amount of carpet in the house.

I have a shark pro and it's amazing with 2 cats and 2 dogs. I've had it for like 5 years and it's still going strong!

Yup Shark Navigator Pet is my go to cleaner. I use it a lot (commercially) so usually buy a new one every year or so. It’s a great value machine and every bit as good as a Dyson. Also, the brush roller never gets clogged!

I vacuum for someone who has 3 shorthair dogs, 1 long hair dog and one that sheds year round. 4 of these dogs are huge and one is a shitzu. I use their Shark Extreme or something like that. It's bagless and has a big cup. I think it cost them 2 to 300 dollars. The last one they had I used for over a year before it said, "enough", and died. So a shark bagless for that amount. It has really good suction when the cup isn't full.

The entire navigator line is complete garbage if you have any semblance of a mess to clean in your house. If you simply own a vacuum to put pretty lines into your carpet, its probably fine. If you actually want to clean with it for any period of time longer than a couple of months, its a waste. I've owned 3 in less than a year, and thats only because I just go exchange them for a new one every time they die on me. If I was paying for it, I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole. I'll never buy another one. I keep them clean, I try and keep the brush rolls clear (hard to do when you cant take the roll out or take the floor nozzle apart), i clean the filters. They're cheap bullshit and not worth as much as the box they come in.

I have two Maine coon cats (the large, hairy ones). I also have asthma. I love my Shark Navigator vacuum
