"Just on the noise alone I hate using my parent's Dyson and use their Miele instead."

"Bought one (after dealing with the constant breakdowns of Dyson and Shark) and never looked back."
"I had my Miele C3 for almost a decade and have had 0 issues with it. It will likely last another decade or longer before I give it to my kids or family."
"I have a 15 year old Miele which is fantastic"

"The bag alone does a better job filtering than the whole of any Dyson or Shark. Then it goes through a pre-filter, and then a HEPA or carbon filter. ... The inside of my C3 is basically spotless. I could eat out of it, and I've had it for 8 years, with two dogs."
"if u are allergic or have allergic family members miele is the way to go. ... Filtration was the reason for me to pick up my miele c3 as well. ... But for someone who has allergies that difference is very important. ... I prefer finer filtration because we have multiple family members will alergies, to the point where it causes unbearable symptoms."
"The C3 has a complete sealed system which is better than C1 if you have issues with allergies."

"horrifically expensive"
"price of replacement parts is a huge reason i recommend sebo vacuums. ... every time i have to look up a part for a miele vacuum i already know it ’s going to cost 3x-4x what it should."
"it also doesn't require bags that are several dollars each, and again, most importantly, makes vacuuming a LOT easier."

"I'll be damned if I'm going to drag that thing up and down three floors regularly."
"I’ve tried my families Miele canister when I lived with them and never got the hang of it. ... How do you manage the canister? We have a small space and based on my experience it seems like I would trip over it. Even when I tried it in a bigger place I still carried the canister around which was super annoying just to not trip on it ... The space is small enough that it has dead ends without enough space to turn around by pulling the canister. Is there a way that same concept can still be applied? We’re talking bedsides with only 1.5’ space, 4’ hallway with a litter box at the end, 5’ kitchen width with dead end."
"a bit cumbersome for daily use"

"My Miele has an infuriatingly short power cord, and my house is quite small"
"The cord is quite long though."

"Scratched the hardwood floors ... there is a sort of hook on the back which hits the floor when you're going under tables/beds"
i was so disappointed by the miele i bought ([proof](https://www.reddit.com/r/VacuumCleaners/comments/hd317t/got_a_miele_disappointed_help/)) that ive since assumed everyone on reddit is a shill and yes i tried the $150 heads and i made sure the vacuum is turned On etc etc
r/VacuumCleaners • Anyone not like their Miele? ->I bought my Miele in 2004 and it's still running strong. Full disclosure: my husband broke the power head 10 years ago. I can't remember what he did except that it was a goofus move. I was really annoyed but I replaced the power head, kept the husband, and the vacuum has been running well ever since.
r/BuyItForLife • Vacuum that won't conk out on me after 3 years ->The general consensus here is that stick vacs as a whole aren't good. I think I'm inclined to agree when it comes to the absolute budget end of the spectrum like this. They won't perform and they won't last long. However I do genuinely think that stick vacs serve a purpose so I'm not against them like a lot of others on this sub. I have one that I use for quick pick ups and a quick run around every few days just to keep things looking ok. It is hugely convenient and my most used vacuum. But I have a corded canister and upright vacuum for deeper cleans every week or so. If I need to do a "proper" clean, the stick vac isn't coming out. You just have to go into the purchase knowing that even if you spend a little more, they're not going to be the longest lasting thing and won't perform as well as a half decent mains powered vacuum with a powered head, and in some cases they won't even perform as well as a canister with a turbo brush. Do you need the convenience of a stick vac? And what flooring do you mainly have?
r/VacuumCleaners • MONSGA Cordless ->Whilst it's less convenient, I find a canister vacuum the lightest to work with, although you do need to manoeuvre the machine around on the floor. With a canister you're barely holding any weight in your hand, it's all down on the floor. For above floor cleaning it's the best experience, and then for carpets and floors it's also easy as you're only pushing around the wand and floor head. In terms of lightweight sticks I don't know too many really I'm afraid. Sebo balance and Dyson V12 are both light. I can't speak to the longevity and quality of either though. I owned a V12 for a bit and it was light to use but I returned it as couldn't justify the expense for my daily runaround vacuum. I own a Levoit LVAC 200 which is...fine...but does a poor job on carpets, it will really only skim the surface. I replaced that with a Tineco Pure One Station Five. It's a bit heavier but it does the job and I picked it up new in box on eBay for about £125. The self empty station really helps and it does an ok job just keeping things looking clean. However I'm not sure how long it'll last as some of the joints are already getting creaky and loose.
r/VacuumCleaners • MONSGA Cordless ->If you get one with a turbo brush it'll be ok, not fantastic but it'll be better than just a straight suction head. I use a Miele canister with a turbo brush and it doesn't dig as deep as my upright with a powered head but it's fine. If you have low pile carpets then it should be ok. For me the convenience of a canister is the versatility of using it for above floor cleaning of upholstery, dusting etc...then also hard floors and area rugs/carpets. There are very limited canister vacuums available in the UK with powered heads, basically I think it's only Sebo who do them now - the K3, E3 and D4. However even the K3 is probably above your budget.
r/VacuumCleaners • MONSGA Cordless ->I have a bagged Miele cylinder as my main vacuum and a cordless bagless stick as a daily run around/quick pick up machine. There's no way the bagless stick could ever serve as my main vacuum. The Miele serves as a regular vacuum, DIY clean up machine, duster etc...has served me well for 9 years now and just keeps going and going. I cannot imagine the cordless stick I have lasting anything like as long - it's already feeling rickety and creaky after less than a year and I take good care of it. If you can afford it - Bagged corded vacuum for your main vacuum, cordless stick for a secondary run around.
r/VacuumCleaners • Why are neither Dyson vacuums nor stick vacuums in the recommended vacuum cleaners list ->Henry has always been the best hoover in my eyes and I've used many over the years. However I admit that they are cumbersome and they do deliberately throw themselves over in a tantrum, grab the corners of walls to avoid their workload and talk shit about you behind your back all while having a very smug look on their stupid red faces. That being said I would also reccomend miele. Also very good quality but much less personality.
r/AskUK • Which hoover would you choose and why? ->Dyson are an utter rip off. I sympathise completely with you. Used to own one and I felt I’d have to do two rounds of the house to get it clean. Go for a Miele, they are cheaper and significantly better.
r/AskIreland • What vacuum cleaners do people recommend? ->I’ve always had a Dyson but recently I used a Miele and holy god they’re good! Next one I buy will be a Miele for sure!
r/newzealand • Briscoes sale - vacuum cleaner recommendations please!! ->A Miele be best, I have got almost a zero particle reading from a c3
r/VacuumCleaners • Best vacuum for allergies? Does it really need to cost $1300? ->And we all know that MIELE is the best at filtration
r/VacuumCleaners • Best vacuum for allergies? Does it really need to cost $1300? ->I’ve sold Miele for over 25 years. I’ve never seen that before. Why don’t you just let them give you another hose
r/VacuumCleaners • Return Advice Needed ->I have a Miele canister. Love it! We have a lot of hard surfaces (hard wood and tile). I got the extra large attachment for hard floors, but honestly the normal sized one it comes with would be sufficient.
r/VacuumCleaners • It is time for a new vacuum cleaner, and now that I am almost 40 I will not be buying it from Walmart. Suggestions?! ->Miele C3 is erg goed, en we hebben ook een Dreame robot stofzuiger.
r/nederlands • Over welke stofzuiger ben jij tevreden? ->I second this! I’ve had mine for more than a decade and it’s still amazing.
r/AskIreland • What vacuum cleaners do people recommend? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
