burgerkingsr 1.0I have a Logitech Brio 301 USB-C with integrated microphone. It works very well with TEAMS on a Mac mini and I am like 5-8 hours a day on TEAMs.
djdtje 1.0We choose the Logitech Brio because they have a USBC port instead of a fixed cable which means easier replacing cables and stuff. But that was during COVID-19. Still working though. In our hybrid classrooms we either use a single PTZ or a two PTZ camera system. The negative feedback we get from a wide shot camera was the reason to bite the bullet and place a second PTZ if demanded. They wanted to read Face expressions.
Ecevits_Ghost 1.0(Edit to put this at top - I wouldn't recommend a Brio 100 (101?) because it is fixed-focus). I've had a Logitech C920 (lowest price looks to be around $60) for several years and it's never given trouble. Also a Logitech Brio 4k ($130). I've also tried no-name webcams and ended up with something that randomly disappears in the middle of meetings (this wasn't Fedora-specific). If it was me, I would go $10 over budget and get a C920 (the diffs between C920/C920e/C920X are minor and mostly what software is bundled with it, so inconsequential). Definitely *don't* get a Brio 101 or 301, or a C270 - they are within your budget, but all three are fixed-focus. (Brio 4k is autofocus like the C920, but double the price, because of the hugher resolution) (I got my first Logitech product back in 1985 (C7 mouse) and have never had a quality problem with any of their products.)

Image quality is as good as it gets for a 1080 resolution camera. My couch is about 6-7ft away as well.
RosaGetsRekt 1.0I use the Logitech Brio 300 and I like it :) its around $70 on Amazon at the moment. it can stand on its own or clip to the monitor, the leg design gives lots adjustable height and angle options. It has a flip cover for privacy and there's a large yellow light that comes on whenever the camera or mic is being accessed. It's small, which was important to me. My cats would have snapped one of those large rectangle ones off my monitor in a week max lol. This one is circular and very sturdy if you're someone who drops things a lot or needs space on your desk. It still takes in a good amount of light and gives off a clear image despite its size. It comes in black, white and pink so maybe you can even select an option that matches your stuff! I have a couple of twitch VODs using the brio so if you'd like to check the quality I can take a screenshot and add an imgur link to the comments.

Temporary_physics625 1.0i currently stream from my computer and with the right ring light set up can get pretty good quality video but not a lot of mobility / angles. so i want a webcam but im looking for something under $100. i got the brio 300 and dont like it at all. it looks way too bright and the color correction is off. i like a warm soft light and can’t seem to get that with the cam the way i can with my phone or computer for streams. what do you recommend that’s decent on a budget?
40eggsnow 0.1I don't think I've had one die. I had an Anker PowerConf webcam, which is a brand I trust generally, just not work well with my PC. Half the time the image would be glitchy, it required software to remember the FOV and it wouldn't work. Switched to the Logitech Brio and it's been a tank, no issues. FOV is perfect, I don't need everyone seeing my whole room, just me.
