Razer - Kiyo Pro

Viewers seem to be split on webcam or not. Some say it’s a must have for them and others say they want game play not the streamer. I chose to go with a webcam because I’m streaming mainly horror and the uncontrollable reactions seem to get good feedback in my stream. I’m using the Razer kylo pro, I’ve had no issues with it. It was around £100 but I’ve had to buy a ring light because it doesn’t have one built in like some others.

I have one of these. The problem is there’s no razer software to configure it on the mac. So I can’t configure the video like I can in Windows.

if you can find a deal on one, razer kiyo pro or razer kiyo pro ultra. plug and play, works super well with OBS. Razer software can be annoying but you can uninstall that if you want.

Logitec c920s Pro HD is pretty much a go-to in mid-range webcams. Though if you want something with a bit more resolution, a Razer Kiyo Pro will more than do the job. Pretty much sure both of those are under 200$USD. The C920s is under 100$. I use both in my streaming setup and they both work just great.

Neither one of those are 4k cameras. The Kiyo is the better of the two and it'll do 1080p@60fps, but I have to lower it to 24fps as my computer won't drive it. If you're looking for a 4k camera, you're probably going to spend more than 200$ and hopefully have a computer that can drive it.

I have a razer kiyo pro with nvidia broadcast. it works pretty well and the price is fair.

Razer Kiyo Pro works great via the usb c to usb a cable straight into the dock of the Nintendo Switch 2

I use razer kiyo pro, with decent lighting it’s a great cam! It has auto focus and you can adjust its settings like brightness, contrast, saturation, white balance, zoom etc. Lighting is imperative for a webcam to reach its proper potential though so make sure you have budget for that as well!

I use the Razer Kiyo pro, I looked on Facebook marketplace for a secondhand webcam rather than spend money on a brand new one with bells and whistles and honestly I’d recommend when starting out to try find secondhand stuff. I used the money i saved on some decent lighting (again not super expensive but a budget friendly option which has really elevated the stream!) I think get yourself some secondhand starter bits and try to work on the most important part which is getting used to streaming regularly! No good spending a ton of money only to find it’s a dropped habit in 2 months. Funnily enough I got my webcam super cheap because the person selling it wanted to be a streamer and gave up 3 days later 😅

I use the Razer Kiyo Pro and have got so many compliments on how crisp it is. I think it was $99.

I’ve got the Kiyo pro (mounted in a Prompter). Very good definition and reasonable colour quality. Doesn’t play well with MS Teams.
