"I put them in my ear, put the helmet on, then do one final “push” with my finger to seat them in my ear for the ride. ... The batteries die before they work out of my ear."

"they are so comfortable that both I and my husband have had to feel our ears to check whether we were still wearing them."

"Also super bonus I've never head banged with earphones this hard besides with these soundcores, they stick to me like glue even when I'm in a metal mood and I'm headbanging for a good hour."

"Noise cancellation works great. ... I’m an attorney and need silence often when working, I will keep them in without anything playing at times because it does a great job with it."

"The R50i NC has a pretty good noise cancelling feature. it cancels out most noises, most especially the low and deep noises such as traffic. ... voices and conversations are ALMOST muted, if you're not listening to music and basically just using these as earplugs, you can still kinda hear people talk but you won't understand a lick of what theyre saying unless you're face to face. It kinda sounds like pressing a thick pillow over people's faces when they're talking. ... I like it, it works for me, especially since once you play music along with ANC, you won't be able to hear any of those little things that penetrate the ANC aside from ambulances and annoying fucking alarms playing on very loud speakers from your brother's PC"

"the transparency is amazing, which is nice for cycling on the road."

"Literally couldn't think of any pair of IEMs + dongle dacs could sound as analytical as the C3P+ for around $70. ... detail is just sooo much better. The C3P+ is just leagues ahead the I5 in terms of detail and resolution. ... the C3P+ is actually the closest sounding one to really expensive iems or headphone that I have."

"Crazy good from the jump! ... When you factor in they're only $99 and go toe-to-toe with Bose QC Ultra at $299, this is the deal of the year!"

"Can't recommend them enough for the value, sound like $200 earphones."

"I think I can confidently say that these will fit anyone and everyone's taste in music, but ONLY because it's soundcore and their app let's you choose EQ settings that would fit your taste. ... Literally each one of the genres I listed sound amazing and most importantly IMMERSIVE when paired with the right EQ ... I was listening to The Red Clay Strays and was not quite satisfied with the way their music sounded so I tried the "Piano" EQ setting, and holy fuck it's like the mids that i was talking about broke out of their cage and colors started flying. The best way I could describe it is that the vocals and instrumentals became more detailed and colorful as opposed to just being a dull and flat board hitting you in the ears. ... For any and I feel like all kinds of audio, you can get what you want with the right EQ setting (preset or custom, whichever you like), even binaural beats which are these pretentious yoga droning noises that i listen to when i can't sleep, they end up being a spiritual experience. ... there's the EQ customization, allowing you to tailor the earbuds' sound quality to a specific genre or taste. there's a ton of different presets for those who have no idea how to manually do it (me), and there's that custom EQ for the sound engineers"

I feel like the R50i NC (or maybe soundcore in general, idk) has an incredibly versatile range when it comes to sound quality, if you don't like bass too much, there's an EQ for that, or if you want your brain rattling for every beat, there's an EQ for that too. "They have a cool PC app with a lot of features on it. ... There's a Sonos feature that opens it up to a lot of customization. Game volume, Discord volume, Mic volume, and operating volume can all be customized."

"I use them constantly from 7am to 12 midnight (only music but ANC is on and volume is full blast) and I only had to charge once when it was at 20% and it took about 15 to maybe 20 minutes to full charge. ... So safe to say I think 10 hours of listening as advertised is true"

"Last year, I bought an ASUS AX3000 WiFi 6 Router, but I returned it. I used it for ~3 weeks, but it was super unreliable compared to my current Asus AC-1900. I never figured out why. I thought it would be an upgrade, but it seemed slower and had tons of connection issues."

"had it replaced for 3x already due to pairing issues."

"Now they cut out all the time at the gym in the high quality mode when it gets busy. ... Very annoying."

Haven't tried any tozo products so can't talk for them but maybe try baseus mc1?before you do I recommend emailing soundcore support and talking about how your c30i broke at the connection. The c30i notorious for breaking at the connection. That's what they focused on fixing with their c40i and aeroclip (which I love). I used to use a c30i and they broke at the connection. I emailed their support and they immediately sent me a replacement. They also broke but still work though lmao.

Anker Soundcore C30i for when i am around others but want to be able to hear what's going on around me. Anker Soundcore Life Q30 when i want total immersion, HyperX when i need chat or just want to go wired, and if i am playing in bed after my wife is asleep, i use a MusicCozy bluetooth sleep mask for comfort. https://preview.redd.it/s7al9dh2meuf1.jpeg?width=3060&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ff25796b5402bc95629c08d8645e7fd68e593039

I really like my Soundcore C30i by Anker. I was originally interested in the Bose Ultra Open Wireless Earbuds and thought these Anker headphones were similar enough at a fraction of the price. They are open ear and feel a lot more secure than regular earbuds that go inside your ear canal. I've never had a problem with them falling out. They are my go-to headphones except when I want noise cancelling. I can wear them for hours because they are so comfortable.

I love my Tozo Open Ears! I also have the Huawei Free Clip and the Soundcore C30i Clip, but the Tozos are my go to. They are so comfortable that I forget I am wearing them and they have a great battery life. No wireless charging, but they don‘t need to be charged very often!

Here are the ones I’ve tried. Shokz- great headphones. It sits next to your ear rather than over. Forever tethered and that can get annoying, especially if you’re wearing a high collared shirt. Shokz now has a non tethered version - I always see them returned at REI so do with that information what you will. Beats headphones - the ones that have an arm that go around your ear. I put the clip over my ear then let it dangle in front of my canal. If I want total block of ambient, I put them in like they’re intended. Three different soundcore - all very affordable especially if you get them refurbished on eBay. All controllable sound quality and controls through their app. Super super long battery life. I think I’m a soundcore person now, the ROI is just much higher with these considering their price, the way I use them, and my perceived sound quality. 1. Soundcore c30i (there are upgraded versions of it) - I really liked these they rest on the flappy part of your ear and project the sound towards the ear canal. Great sound and control. less than $50 cheap. 2. Soundcore v30i. Love these, they’re the older model but I like these because they adjust on the arm itself so you can make it more or less ambient to outside sound. Sits on top of the ear. Also less than $50 if you get them refurbished. I use these at home. 3. Soundcore Aerofit pro. I use these for work - people say I sounds great on calls and don’t hear my coworkers (I work in pretty busy and noisy office. Great sound - dare I say too great, I get overwhelmed sometimes. It sits on top of the canal so you can hear if you need to (not adjustable). These ran closer to $100 - even refurbished. They come with a strap if you want to tether them. The battery life on these are crazy - I charge once a week and I’m on those all day 5 days a week between calls and music.

C30i break in the middle very easily.  Look for some that doesn't have a joint in the middle of the band

Over-ear are bad because (a) heavy and unbalancing, and (b) you have little awareness of your surroundings. I seem to be posting this once a week now (and I promise I'm not on commission) but I absolutely love my Soundcore C30i earclips for running (I see there are C40i out now, but I've not tried them).

r/EarbudsHalf in-ears earbuds that will sit stably in my ears?

You can try to buy some clip on or hook on style earbuds that don't go in the ear if that is causing any discomfort. Some options I would recommend are the Soundpeats PopClip or Pearlclip Pro. Soundcore also makes some great clips on earbuds that I've tried such as the c30i or c40i. And for hook on earbuds under 100 USD, I would mainly recommend the Earfun openjump.

They are quite large as clip on imo and they don't stay on me well for my smallish ears. Imo the soundcore c30i or c40i stay on better
