"I have a pair of anker soundcore buds that I ve been using heavily daily for like 4 ish years now. ... The battery seems to last nearly as long as it did when new. ... haven noticed a decline in the originals at all."

"Still rock them 4 years later."

"But for $50 it’s hard to beat the convenience of wireless on a handheld device."

"And I only paid $40 brand new sealed for them. Totally worth it."

"The soundcore vr p10 are a good wireless earbud choice for a low budget. ... Think I got mine for $30 refurbed from secondipity but looks like they no longer carry them. About $50 new on amazon."

"never had any issues with any of them across pixel 6a, 7a, 8a and 8 pro."

"that you can buy multiple dongles and choose what to connect to."

"The additional dongle feature works very well ... I have one for all of my devices, and switching is easy."

"There is zero delay with the VR 10s."

"They have a USB-C dongle that is used to transmit the audio to get around the problem of latency using Bluetooth. ... I tried with my AirPods Pro, and while the delay was not devastating, it was definitely noticeable and annoying, especially depending on the title that you’re playing. ... I found it is mainly on games where pressing a button provides some form of audible feedback immediately, an example shooting games. Pressing the button to shoot a gun and having the sound go off a half a second later is annoying AF in my opinion. ... PERFECT use case. ... Another good way to test this is to watch a YouTube video or something on the RP5 with Bluetooth earbuds. You’ll notice when people talk, it seems like it’s out of sync. It’s much more noticeable way to demonstrate it very quickly. ... These are a game changer for VR considering audio cues are a big part of it. ... removes any annoying delays. ... My main point was it’s nothing like Bluetooth. ... from the standpoint of the usual latency most people experience on Bluetooth, this is imperceptible"

"The VR P10’s are awesome for connecting directly to devices using the dongle. ... Best low latency you can find apart from a cable. ... I bought them specifically for gaming and the low latency."

"When I need to charge I have a small cable/adapter that splits into two ports - one for audio and one for power. Works great for me!"

"VR 10s passthrough charging is VERY convenient"

"This fix worked thank you, my dongle now works after i changed xhci to drd"

"I would not turn on usb mic with the headset though because the mic for earbuds are not better than the headset mic"

"The quality is meh TBH kind of like the sound of someone talking on the phone. ... So, yes it works, no it doesn’t sound like a $200 microphone"

"The mic is… ok. It does the job, but doesn’t sound amazing."

"don’t recommend for the gym. ... They’re only IPX4 rated and don’t have anything to grip your ears with. ... They constantly fell out of my ears while moving, to the point I returned them."

"they fall out a lot more"

"They also much more regularly fall out"

"they would no longer hold a charge"

"After I charge through the dongle and pull it out, the dongle pops off with it. I don't want a dongle attached to my usb c charger all the time."

"I thought the pass-through charging had a relatively low cap though and that the deck would drain faster than it charges that way(depending on the game of course)."

"The Soundcore VR P10 I had would always die during my longer sessions. ... I think the P10s were rated for 5 hours but would almost never reach 5 hours."

"they would no longer hold a charge"

"Sadly my $99 Anker Soundcore ... last only a small fraction of that time."

"kept getting audio hitches"

"Now they cut out all the time at the gym in the high quality mode when it gets busy. ... Very annoying."

"Above all else, the sound quality is just average. There is nothing special targeted toward VR or anything. It's just marketing. No expanded sound stage or ambient focus."

I was recommended Soundcore VR P10s here, I got them and they’re damn awesome. I would not turn on usb mic with the headset though because the mic for earbuds are not better than the headset mic but the sound is great. The dongle has a pass through that lets you plug your headset in with it, and you can pair the earbuds Bluetooth to your phone, getting the 2.4ghz 30ms delay from the headset and Bluetooth to your phone in case you get a call. They’re damn good tbh, very happy with them considering I hated wearing cans on my head with more wires. https://a.co/d/arQEzia

Power. I don’t play pcvr right now, so I have no experience with that but I think it still allows. If you play plugged in, like myself, it works great.

I would suggest Soundcore VR p10. These have their own problem but I let you research that But I will tell you what I love about them, *Simultaneous Audio Stream* from dongle and Bluetooth. I've use this so much during college where I use them for meeting on phone while also using laptop to look at videos or stuff they send Or when gaming on laptop, can still hear the game sound and then using phone to pick music. Mine broke because um, I was using while riding the bike and accidentally drop the entire case, AHHAHA. So now I'm looking for a new pair. However, these new earbud such as Sony inzone, Steelsteries gamebuds or Cetra, all lack this feature for whatever reason. So idk if I should by one of them or just get a new VR p10

Just a mini rant/annoyance. I've *loved* my switch 2 so far, it feels like the largest technical leap I've made in my gaming hardware since that time I upgraded from a GTX 1050 to a 2060 Super. Everything runs and looks better, the controls feel better, the screen's... got its downsides but I generally prefer the resolution bump, and the improved wi-fi-- Dear god I would have murdered for this wi-fi on Switch 1. However, I've spent the last few days trying to figure out a good wireless, mostly portable audio solution for this thing, and it hasn't been going well. Bluetooth is *incredibly* laggy, seeming to approach 500 ms territory, which is completely beyond what I can tolerate (it outright screws with my ability to respond in some quicker games, including--of all things--fishing in Animal crossing) so the headphones I already have are off the table. I tried a cheap but good pair of Anker VR p10 wireless earbuds with a usb-c dongle, but those just flat out don't work with the Switch 2. The console won't recognize them as an audio device. I've been looking at different bluetooth earbuds with better support for LE audio, but despite using Bluetooth 5.2, everything I've found seems to suggest the Switch 2 only supports SBC and AAC for audio codecs, with zero LE audio support, which... basically means Bluetooth audio works as well on Switch 2 as it did on Switch 1. Which is to say, poorly. Now I'm trying to search down USB-C wireless earbuds that actually work with the Switch 2, and I've found some, but compatibility is so strict and there's so little information on what does and doesn't work, I've only really managed to narrow down *one* option, and it's one of the most expensive. It's just incredibly frustrating, both with the utter lack of LE audio support (why the frick even have Bluetooth 5.2 if you're not going to--) and the incredible specificity needed out of USB-C headphones. It almost breaks the point of having two USB-C ports--yes I know that's not the only reason but I know it was one a lot of people were excited about. I just wish this aspect was a little more plug and play, and I didn't have to reference scattered reddit posts to try and figure out why nothing is working the way I want it to.

I use the Sound core VR P10's which are earbuds with a WiFi Dongle that plugs in the USB C port to cure the Bluetooth delay issues. The Dongle has a pass through port so that you can still charge with a battery strap or battery bank while using them which is really handy. Prism XR also do earbuds similar to this. I will sometimes use the built in audio but only when I'm playing games or fitness apps where the sound quality doesn't matter, otherwise I find the built in audio pretty crap and only just sufficient for general use. They absolutely ruin rhythm games or any single player experiences for me and I'm surprised how much praise they are getting here. FWIW I came from the Index before Quest 2 / 3 and the Index just had the best audio solution hands down IMO. Great quality and 0 contact with the ears.

I have had these for years and they are slowly dying on me. The battery used to last like 6 hours now it lasts 2-4 and the range I used to be able to walk around my entire house fine now if I leave my room they start disconnecting. Great pair of buds but seeing as they no longer make them getting support for them is gonna be next to impossible when they inevitably degrade.

I have the SoundCare VRs too for my PC gaming, but keep a cheap pair of wired earbuds in my RP case. Great idea though! Audio latency bugs me as well.

I used Soundcore too. Great comfortable headphones for cheap. Battery lasts a LONG time. I even use them with PSVR1 wired which uses no battery at all.

Hey, how’s the search going? Like you, my VR P10s don’t work with my Switch2, so I’m also searching for compatible 2.4g earbuds. My USB-C EarPods do work, and so does my Eppfun USB-C Bluetooth transmitter (AptX adaptive), but that has a bit of latency. I was checking Amazon and found PRISMXR earbuds which specifically say they’re  not compatible with Switch2. Their USB-C dongle is identical to the P10 dongle, so that tracks. I’ve seen posts here on Reddit saying the Steelseries Arctis Gamebuds and JBL Quantum TWS are compatible.
