"I waheed these (well, technically Active 7) in my washing machine by accident. With the case. And I only had them for like 2 months. Was super pissed. ... Out of desperation I put everything in a huge bowl of rice overnight. Opened them up in the morning - worked flawlessly ever since. That's been over two years ago."

"Jabra elites are incredible. ... On my second pair and they've lasted at least 2 years now."

"My 7’s have lasted about 5 years now and I used them for work/working out."

"I'm currently using Jabra Elites that are honestly great ... earbuds allow just enough noise I can hear other people talking to me and hear the hum of my machines but still reduce my overall noise load. ... I use them daily around 100-115dB worth of noise."

"Also their hearthrough option is really nice for trails. You hear the birds but can still listen to David Goggins screaming at you. Which is nice."

"They have "hear through mode" that allows me to hear outside noise while I am riding."

"and the controls work just fine no matter how sweaty your hands get and they also work with gloves on."

"I can double tap my right earphone and it skips songs."

"They have physical buttons instead of "touch" buttons - so important."

"if you like music with heavy bass these absolutely rip."

"very good sound"

"Sound quality is good ... sound quality was just a tad worse than the Elite 7"

"they’ve never fallen out of my ears while being active - they actually turn off when they’re almost accidentally wiggled loose after a long intense training sesh."

"jabra elite actives have always stayed in my ears when hitting a bag, shadowboxing, running, ect. ... Personally never have had them fall out when exercising."

"Very very secure fit"

"My Elite 7 Active degraded really fast into a complete battery failure right after the warranty period ended :("

"reliability was always pretty bad ... they wouldn't last more than 12-18 months at ost."

"same happened with my elite 7 sport"

"Call quality with FreeBuds Pro 4 is by far the best and essentially the same as using my phone directly."

"noise cancellation is poor. ... noise cancellation was much much better [on Sony-1000XM4]. ... There ’s no point in having good sound if the isolation is poor and all the ambient noise in coming in (looking at you Jabra)."

Elite 7 Actives for me. Now that Jabra doesn’t make earbuds anyone I don’t know what I’ll do when the battery dies

Following because my Elite 7 Active left earbud just got ran over by a car, and I'm trying to find a replacement. Might have to replace the whole set with something else.

Jabra elite 7 active or sony link buds, both great mics and all rounder daily use.

It used to be very easy. Jabra Elite Active 7. For literally any purpose. Now that they broke I have no idea what to replace them with since everything else feels inferior.

For gym use, try looking into the Soundcore Sport X10 or the Jabra Elite 7 Active, both have secure fits and solid sweat resistance. The Jabra has better noise isolation, while the Soundcore usually hits harder on bass. If you want to check them out in real time, [Whatnot](https://whatnot.com/invite/dineritoreferido) has live audio gear streams where verified sellers test earbuds on camera and compare sound profiles before you buy. It’s great if you want to see fit and mic tests instead of relying only on reviews.

Went from the Elite 7 Active to the Pixel Buds Pro. Provided a similar set of on-bud controls, though I still prefer buttons over capacitive

I have a pair of the pixel buds 2, and while they're good, my Jabra Elite 7 Active has better ANC. Oddly enough, they fit better for me too.

Alongside my XM3, a nice pair of Jabra Elite 7 Actives supplement them and I must say that it is sublime.

I have had a few sets and so far so good, i had a set of elite 4 actives which i bought because of the waterproof rating, i wear them literally to go to the sauna where i sit for hours, then have a shower with them in then go into the plunge pool (all the way under) then back into the sauna. i do this daily for about an hour or 2 they lasted about 9 months of that which i thought was pretty impressive honestly, most other earbuds die pretty fast in those environments. they technically still work but they have started getting a little funky in the software department. I have a pair of elite 7 active which i use as sleep buds because theyre low profile and again, no issues, sometimes the process of updating is a little weird but like, it does it... eventually, By comparison i got a pair of XM4's and they had something wrong with the speaker that made it sound like there was a ringing whenever i moved my head, coughed etc. Sony gave me the run around on those even though its a well documented issue I have also just sent back a pair of Momentum TW3 because one earbud just like, died, wont charge any more, those also had a really dicky case where if the buds got just a little bit of ear crud on them they wouldnt charge - again a well known and documented issue, all you had to do was clean the buds and theyd work again but like, i shouldnt have to play roulette once every 2 - 3 weeks on whether my buds will work. Last pair ill comment on is Momentum TW2's, they were pretty good and i still use them but when i work out in them, sometimes one ear will like, lose power, not totally, its still playing but theres no bass, the volume is low, then randomly 2 - 3 mins later they go normal again then they die again and repeat... it was really weird. TLDR: Jabra have been good to me in the 3 pairs i have owned, by comparison every time i spend 400 - 500 on a pair of buds (AUD) they have been pretty fuckin trash..
