"battery lasts me forever, I charge it once a week and I game every day."

"16 days battery life on my fenix. ... The other aspect I really appreciate about my fenix is the battery life. 16 days or so. With everything I have to change these days (laptops, mice, keyboards, headphones, watches, phones), I appreciate not having to worry about it too often."

"Oh, and the battery lasts days even when exercising a lot (weeks without excercise)."

"For an open style earbud, these genuinely surprised me with their overall performance in sound at this price point. ... IMHO, these Soundpeats PearlClip Pro are probably the best I’ve heard in this under $50 price category when it comes to this style of earbuds. ... These are one of the best clip-on earbuds in this price category especially when it comes to price to performance in sound quality and feature set"

"How much of a difference does a little 5 ohm impedance bump make? A whole hell of a lot actually. ... we get a HUGE bass boost in the balance of this IEM, running into the mid range and smoothing out the treble. If you add foam tips into the equation, what you get is a bassy, new meta-like sound with a much fuller mid bass and lower mid range, making for much richer male vocals while eliminating Harman shout and spice. Once adapted, the set has a much more pronounced mid bass kick and texture, and will satisfy a fair amount of bassheads. ... All in all, the adapter makes it sound like a completely different IEM, and that makes for a pretty versatile, choose-your-own-adventure style experience."

"I struggle to tell the difference between them and "premium" buds that cost 3 or 4 times more, so I just stick with these. ... I auditioned these between Bose QC 2024, Pixel Buds Pro and Sony WF-1000XM5 and I can't really tell the difference. ... certainly not enough to make me pay 4x as much."

"They're pretty water resistant, I've (accidentally) sent them through the wash in my pants pocket and they still work just fine."

"I sweat heavily while running and never had that issue ran at least 1700kms with them and no issues."

"I haven't been able to kill them with my sweat yet. ... I went through a couple other brands of similar headphones that would die after a run or two, I believe my sweat killed them."

"2nding this, nothing else beats them for the price. ... I got em for $10 during Target sales"

"for under 30 ... Price more than makes up for it tho"

"Moondrop Spacetravel are extremely hard to beat in that category, and price is so low you would be STUPID not to at least try them."

"AirPods are built to last a year the then they fail. ... Every year, right after the warranty expires, one ear bud fails its almost a joke to us at this point. ... we've had 8-9 pairs of air pods fail ... One of the air pods just quit working on all the sets they've had..."

"Three months later, one earbud stopped working."

"R50i has an issue where it sometimes stops working all together, once it clicks into that deep sleep the reset won't work no matter what you do because there isn't actually a physical button on it or on the box."

"QC issues, on my 2nd pair and they have a strange white noise that occurs randomly. ... First pair left earbud white noise was bad and had to return. ... 2nd pair same left earbud white noise and I’ve returned them. All happened within a week of light use."

"every 60 seconds or so it shrieked for a couple of seconds in an electric staticy kinda way."

"the Tea Pro are absolutely terrible. ... I couldn't sell them quick enough. ... Utter dogshit & not 10% as good as the Tea 2. ... utter crap with horrific mids, dreadful bass & terrible treble"

"The sound coming from the TOZOs sounded "anemic as fuck" and I couldn't get them to sound anywhere as loud and powerful as the others."

"The nc9 had no volume or bass even after adjusting the eq,"

"found them very quiet ... On my PC or on my IPhone."

This may not help, but don't buy the JLab Go Air Sport. It has good reviews and is priced at < 2K, so I bought one. Three months later, one earbud stopped working. The Warranty period is 2 years, but unfortunately, I now need to ship it to the US on my own. They will check and get back to me in the fullness of time. This will, of course, never happen and I have no recourse.

Yep, cheaper and cheerful, never fall out, have dealt fine with running in the rain, charge lasts really well. Not the best sound quality compared to some, but great for the price, and I'm not worried about losing or breaking expensive kit.

I got 2 pairs of these and both sets had one bud die after less than 5 runs. I suspect these might not be good options for those who sweat heavily.

I have the Jlab go air sport and they are perfect. Only like $30-40 and have the hook so they wrap around the ear and never fall out. I’ve been running with them for over a year and they still sound great. Can still hear car noise/other people if you don’t have it too loud.

JLab Go Air Sport are the best and cheap. Can get them for $50 in Canada I’ve had them for a year and sound still great, only charge the case every month or so and use them about 4 hrs per week. Have the hooks around the ears so never fall out.

1) Jlabs are always good for the price. The case is larger with that style, but they have both dust and water resistance and good battery life. They’re touch controls and in-ear. I’ve owned these before and they were decent, I just wasn’t a fan of the case size. [They make them in black too.](https://www.harveynorman.com.au/jlab-go-air-sport-true-wireless-earbuds-black.html) 2) I have these currently (as well as the previous Dime 2’s) and I absolutely love them. They sound better than buds twice the price, a super small case and to answer your question: I’d say it’s actually *more* secure than the others as it doesn’t have the usual magnetic closing lid, it snaps shut physically. Think like a case of breath mints or zyns. They have a surprisingly good “pass-through” transparency mode that’s unheard of in headphones in this price point. Throw in water resistance, good battery life, built in Tile functionality and a lanyard, and *physical buttons on each earpiece* (important if you prefer touch controls, but is preferred when working out to prevent accidental presses and could be better when you’re fishing). Obviously it’s my recommendation. :) 3) never heard of this brand before, but looking at the specs, they honestly suck for that price. They don’t have any features besides splash resistance and the battery life is significantly worse than the others. Especially since you had a pair before that broke, I’d avoid them for sure. 4) I’ve never owned Belkin headphones, but they’re a decent quality brand in general. They have decent features like water resistance, EQ and multipoint but that case is a chonker. Might not be as bad in person, idk. Best battery life of the list though, but only by an hour. The fast charge is nice. I think they’d be a solid pick. 5) literally everything from #4. Do note that they’re open-ear, not in-ear like all your other options. Good for being aware of your environment, but if you ever do want noise isolation you’re out of luck, unlike earbuds with transparency mode (like the Dime 3’s *wink wink*) where you can turn it on and off. Hope this helps! :)

I've ran with regular ear buds, the ones with the wing to stay inside your ear and the ones that have the over the ear "hook" to keep them in place. If you wear glasses the hook ones may not be the most comfortable ones, although I did use JLab go air SPORT for my half marathon and training up to it. They stayed in place but sometimes would woghte push my ear out or would shift my glasses up on one side (usually only wear one ear buds at a time) The other types could work well too but in my personal experience they did not stay in place as well as the Hook style ones. I accidentally ran over my JLab so now I have the soundcore sport x20. they are great. The hook part is a bit more comfortable than the JLab Ones, have better control, can connect to multiple devices and the sound is better in my opinion. They're also smaller. If available they may be out of your desired budget, but they have worked well for me.

For me, these are great and fit all categories. If you fully charge them they should last about 4-5 hours. Also they're definitely built to STAY ON. These things will not fall off if you're running. Also great sound quality, albeit pretty quiet. I will say they're pretty breakable, overuse made mine last for a year and a half it seems at most, but if you treat them well it could last longer.
