This^ I just went down this rabbit hole and everyone's opinions online varied wildly from my own in person experiences. I ended up keeping Galaxy Buds 3 Pro (pixel phone). I tried Pixel Buds Pro 2, JBL Tour Pro 3, OnePlus Buds Pro 3, and Nothing Pro (2024).

Battery life seems worse on the Buds 4 but more importantly the audio quality on the 4 is not as good as the Buds Pro 3. Buds 4 sound a bit tinny and not as immersive as the Pro3. Lows, mids, and highs all seem a bit congested on the 4 compared to the Pro3. When I put on the Buds Pro 3, it sounds damn good. When I put on the 4, it sounds just ok.
r/oneplus • OnePlus Buds Pro 3 — Honest Review ->After almost a week of using em; I’m sending em back, for the price the jbl tour 3 has waaaay more value, I got the denon perl on discount and on white as my one plus buds 3, I tried everything, different tips, removing the foam AND the filter, sound is good but volume in the jbl and op3p is way better, so as bass and articulation in the mids, I really wanted to keep this ones but anc as good as many say chaNtes the tonality no matter which setting I’m in, passive anc (just from the tips) is almost inexistent, the App eq is awful (hands down to jbl, their eq is outstanding) and the fact that even between little details in the codec selection they change sound quality (96/ 32 sounds awful, the best I got was from 96/24 on ldac and le codec which locks the device to one single device) all in all Im covered by the jbl and the op3p, I have my hopes high on the denon, and even though I tweaked a lot the eq on the jbl, the oneplus buds 3 pro still have better sub bass than both of em, such a shame one plus doesn’t use a higher quality codec for other phones than their own overall, I felt that the az100 hype is just that. Hype
r/Earbuds • Now that the hype around the Technics AZ-100 is over, are they really worth the money? ->Well I have used all 3 so maybe I can pitch in. I didn't like the ANC on the OnePlus buds 3 pro. The OnePlus 4 had raving reviews and they are pretty cheap in my country so I picked them up but unfortunately the ANC isn't great and for me calls are really important. The ANC is good with music on but can't do much when outdoor on calls. I would suggest the Samsung Buds 3 pro incase you are looking for something as an upgrade
r/Earbuds • I am heavily surprised by the quality of these $60 earbuds ->I’ve had all except the huawei. I still have the JBL’s. I love them. But I also have AirPods Pro 2 and most recently bought one plus buds pro 3. Out of them all the one plus buds are by favorite. I can’t wait for the pro 4’s and the new AirPods Pro. But I think the dual drivers really make a difference on the JBL and one plus.
