"Yeah mine just arrived and I see what you mean, they're quite abrasive in upper mids... ... Still not happy with the treble extension though, makes them sound kind of artificial and congested."

"the app is buggy as heck meaning I can never adjust the sound settings because it won’t connect. ... Finallly you have to have both earbuds in your ears to adjust the sound picture which sucks because I often only wear one bud on transparency mode at work ... Yep I keep having to “forget device” then reconnect to get the app to connect"

"The TOZO app is not very good and it wasn't laid out nearly as nicely or intuitive as the one from that NOTHING offers."

"When it came time to put them back in the charging case, it took much longer than I expected because even though I thought they were in correctly I couldn't close the lid because they were actually turned around."

"I couldn't figure out the right way to insert them into my ears."

If you're not an audio snob and just want some solid earbuds for cheap, TOZOs are my rec. My first pair of NC9s lasted me about four years of daily use before one broke open (my fault, I dropped it a bunch), they still work after gluing it back. Still, I partially retired them for a pair of the new NC9 version (new version has a screen in the side of the case for charge status, old version is just 4 leds).  Realistically it's hard to find BIFL quality tech in the world of planned obsolescence for a daily use item that is vulnerable to dropping. But I think $30 for 4 years of daily use is pretty darn good.

I also find it interesting because when my sony ANC earbuds died this year, I went to shop a replacement and found the market had completely moved to those air pod wireless earbuds. I was a bit skittish about dropping $$$ on a form factor I didn't like so I went looking for decent earbuds that were relatively cheap. Tozo barely merits a mention here but was highly recommended for my use case, so I wound up getting some NC9s. Now, I'm no audiophile, my main use case is listening to audio books, but these have been fantastic. Maybe not quite as good ANC as my old sony ones, but they actually stay in better and I paid $35 vs $225. No brainer.

I use the NC9's for errands and exercise, but I'm currently using a pair of over the ear QC 25's for at home use that you will take from my cold, dead hands. Being able to quick swap AAA's is so much better than having to recharge.

Tozo nc9 . Not the best sound quality and I don't recommend it if you are audiophile, however i like the fact that it's compact and fits in ear tightly and doesn't come off easily even with treadmill running.

Honeslty I spent like 150$ and got Raycon impacts and they are trash. Their best product and it doesnt function half the time. Has issues with the battery station contacts making is so half the time one ear bud doesnt even charge while in the dock. Other issues like random disconnects and sound issues dropping in and out etc... I since than purchased Tozo NC9 for $40 and they are far supior in every way. Even the dock is awesome as it has a digital interface that tells you how much charge is left in both earbuds and the dock its self, the battery life is better and so is the sound quality. Only been using it for about 5 years but its been rock solid once paired. I love them. I believe mine are the NC9 Hybirds that are $40 but they have a more expensive NC9 version for roughly $80.

Yes. I use NC9s by Tozo and they are fucking awesome. They have a 75$ pair but I use the Hybirds that are like $45 and they are just great. I bought a 2nd pair to use with my phone and my other pair I use when I game on my PC. They have great sound, ANC and battery life.

I jumped on that deal for the x20's too. I grabbed the soundcore space a40's and the tozo nc9's, both of which give me ear fatigue after a few hrs so I figured i should try a different form factor and grabbed the x20's. Waiting for em now. How you liking the x20's so far?

Yes, I just bought a pair, played with the eq like 15 minutes, and returned them. I have the nc3, and the nc7, and both of those are really nice. The nc9 had no volume or bass even after adjusting the eq,

I have had a lot of different ones, but these (hopefully it'll take a link in this sub) have been great. I bought another set to leave at work. https://a.co/d/0l0KV6E I also have some Alexa ones that work well when using audible
